The company Skoda has previously announced that in 2019 it is planned to release two electric models. Now representatives of the brand said this information. This year, Skoda will introduce a Plug-in hybrid Superb, and later electric citicar Citigo.
According to experts, the hatchback will be equipped with electric motor that generates 82 horsepower. The power plant is powered from the batteries, and the range will be 160 miles.
The Skoda Superb sedan is likely to receive a hybrid powertrain that will borrow from the Golf GTE. The total output of the hybrid will be 204 HP.
In addition, the press service of the Czech brand reports that Skoda is going in the next two years to invest more than two billion euros in the development of new electric models.
