Airline «Ukraine International airlines» has opened direct regular flights to the resort town of La Romana (Dominican Republic).

«On Thursday, October 25, the airline «Ukraine International airlines» has transported passengers on regular direct flight to La Romana. UIA is the first Ukrainian airline opened regular flights to the Dominican Republic», — stated in the message.
It is noted that the flights will be carried out in the period from October 25, 2018 may 14, 2019 twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays every ten days on the wide-body Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with three classes of service: business, premium economy and economy.
Travel time from Kiev to La Romana is 12 hours and 50 minutes, and back — 11 hours and 30 minutes.
Director of communications at UIA Eugene Satskaya said that the airport La Romana are not randomly selected for flights to the Caribbean resorts.

The geographical location of the La Romana international airport equidistant between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana allows our passengers fast and convenient access to the neighbouring resorts in the Caribbean,» said Satsky.
It is noted that the schedule is made so that a flight from the airport «Borispol» on a single ticket, UIA could use and transit passengers from Almaty, Tbilisi, Baku, Tehran, Chisinau, tel Aviv and Minsk.

Today, as part of UIA fleet of 43 aircraft of different modifications, including 30 medium-haul Boeing 737 NG with an average age of 8.7 years. UIA operates over 1100 scheduled flights a week.
